Ingredients

  • 4 Frozen bananas
  • 2 Tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons of cacao
  • 1 Vanilla pod, de-seeded or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional Cacao nibs if you like a crunch

How To Make

  1. In a food processor blend the banana and nut butter (see almond butter recipe for how to make your own), blend until smooth and creamy
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
  3. Freeze for 30 minutes in a freezer container. I still like to use glass

    This is AMAZING! Note to self: Peel bananas before freezing. I did not and my hands were almost frozen by the time I was finished. It was so worth the effort! Best treat ever. :)
