Dr Michael Greger Golden Gravy
You can serve this gravy thick or add more vegetable stock to make it thinner. Which is what I do

Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup vegetable broth
- 2 Cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 Cups chickpea cooked and drained (tined or tetra pack is best here as the liquid is good to use)
- 2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 Tablespoon white miso paste
- 1 Teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 Teaspoon turmeric powder or fresh turmeric - knob of grated
- 1/4 Teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
How To Make
- Bring the broth and the garlic to the boil,
- Simmer and stir in all the remaining ingredients
- Transfer to a blender and blend until you get a nice gravy
- Add more water to make the consistency you require
