  • 1 Cup oats
  • 1 Cup of almonds (or 1 cup of almond mylk
  • 1 Cups of water
  • 1 Cup apple, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoons cinnamon, or cocoa from cacao nibs/ raw cacao (blended until powder)
  • OPTIONAL handful of raisin, 1/2 banana

How To Make

  1. Place the oats in a pan with 3/4 cup of water, (banana sliced if you are having it. Cook until the oats are soft. Add the almond mylk (to make this add 1 cup of pre-soaked almonds into a blender with 2 cups of water and blend on high speed for 30 seconds) mix 1 cup of this into the cooked oats are soft. Keep the rest for your smoothie or turmeric late. Toast any remaining almonds in a pan, and add to the porridge with grated / or diced apple. You can also add cinnamon or cocoa powder
  2. NOTE: Soak your almonds overnight to break down the enzyme inhibitors
