Strawberry Ice Cream

When freezing bananas make sure they are super soft, almost over ripe before taking off the skin and placing in a storage container and freezing. You can even slice up a little so that they do not take up too much room.

Ingredients

  • 4 Frozen bananas
  • 2 Tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 Cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 Vanilla pod, de-seeded or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make

  1. In a food processor blend the banana and nut butter (see almond butter recipe for how to make your own), blend until smooth and creamy
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse keeping some texture to the strawberries.
  3. Freeze for 30 minutes in a freezer container. I still like to use glass
