Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup almonds
  • 3/4 Cup pitted dates
  • 1 Tablespoon MATCHA
  • 3 Cups filtered water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon maca powder (optional)
  • 1 Cup ice

How To Make

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  2. Drink up quickly as this is when it tastes the best.

Notes

If you are on limited or no caffeine, then replace the matcha with spirulina blue-=green algae. This has more protein than soy and more vitamin A than carrots and more IRON than beef. Its also packed with phytochemical's to protect us from ageing and illness later in life.

Another variation that Ani suggests is replace matcha with 1 tablespoon alcohol-free vanilla extract, and a teaspoon of mint extract.
