Turmeric Daily Starter
This is a quick snack or pre workout liven'er. You can add some oats / chia and make it into a breakfast smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 Banana
- Knob of ginger, skin off (or juice with skin on)
- Knob of fresh turmeric root, skin off (or juice with skin on)
- ½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 150ml Plant based mylk of your choice - I love hemp for the added protein
- Pinch of black pepper (to help the curcumin to absorb in the turmeric
- I Teaspoon flax seed oil or a tablespoon of ground flax seed
- OPTIONAL
- Oats if you want to make it a breakfast
- Chia seeds (soak for 10 mins before mixing into the smoothie)
- 1 Tablespoon sunflower or event better sunflower sprouts or other sprouts
- 1 Teaspoon honey or stevia drops
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10g Protein powder
How To Make
- PREPARATION 1 WITH BLENDER ONLY
- Add ginger and turmeric cut into small slices into the blender with the mylk. Blend until broken up. Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until the consistency you like
- PREPARATION 2 WITH JUICER
- Juice the ginger and the turmeric then add to the blender with the remaining ingredients.
- Drink up quick and enjoy.
